Shandong's Vegetables
Exported to Japan Increasing
According to the data from Shandong Inspection
and Quarantine Bureau, Shandong, as the largest province exported
vegetable to Japan, exported more vegetables and received
more earning recently,meanwhile hitting the new record on
quantity and value in October.
It is learned that the import increased,price increasing
in Japan since September, due to the natural disaster leading
to the output declining.In October,Shandong's vegetables exported
to Japan increase sharply, totalled 3309 lots, 52,500 tons,
valued at $41 million, up 17.79%,31.1% and 32.01% separately,creating
the new records in recent 2 years. Furthermore, the average
price for vegetables reached $0.79/kg, up 83.3% from $0.72
in September. The main export products include salted vegetables,
dehydrated vegetables and fresh vegetables.
